There’s a new/updated section to the site for your own benefit now. Check out the “Discussion & Tools” section. Content is being added. Daily devotions as part of the 2010 New Testament Challenge will be added to the section. In addition to the devotions there is a general discussion area as well.

The Oasis will be hosting a variety of entertainment events in the future including live music of various styles, game nights, movies, art exhibition, and scrapbooking.

Also soon a daily devotional and discussion will be added to the site for your convenience and spiritual growth. Check back soon!

Thank you all for the overwhelming outpouring of love and support.  We appreciate the cards, calls, emails, and food, and are very blessed to be part of your family.  We request your continued prayers over the coming days and weeks.

Friends…family, I’m sorry to report the loss of Terry Mabry, our dear Pastor’s brother today. This morning I saw there had been a workplace shooting at ABB in St. Louis. Shortly thereafter I learned that Brian’s brother worked there. The family has been anxiously awaiting any news today. News reports have been conflicting throughout the day concerning the events that occurred. Just a bit ago I received a call from Denise stating that Brian’s brother was one of those that died as a result of one man allowing sin to rule his actions.

I apologize that due to weather I’m stuck out of town tonight with no cell phone reception, so please pardon my lack of easy availability. At this time I have no further information.
