I listened intently as she poured out the details of her demands, feeling that she was reading from the pages of my life. “I’ve done some of the same things,” I confessed. I remembered times when my husband, Steve, had withdrawn from me, saying, “I can’t be responsible when you’re not happy.” Only now did I understand what he meant.

Band Camp – August 2010

The Oasis worship band and tech team will have “band camp” August 2nd – 6th from 12:00pm – 2:00pm daily. Following the summer break, the worship band will learn a block of new songs, review old songs, and continue to hone their skills as musicians glorifying the Lord. Further details will be communicated.

The admission that America’s future is resting on the shoulders of teenagers is typically accompanied by some sort of dire remark about how today’s youth, instead of changing America’s course, are quickening the moral and spiritual decay of our nation. Both statements are, in my opinion, correct.

Please continue to pray for Rifqa Bary, the young lady whose parents are trying to force her back under the evil hand of Islam.
A former Muslim who was pastor of a church in Columbus, Ohio, says 17-year-old Christian convert Rifqa Bary has told him she has a very aggressive form of uterine cancer.
