I'd only spoken with him a few times, but he seemed like a very pleasant fellow that I enjoyed talking with. I know that you were very close to him, as were other members of your family. Know that your church family loves you during this grieving period. Friends, the time we have on this earth together is limited. Our lives are short. Let us cherish the time we have together, and openly express our love for each other. Furthermore, let us share the love of God and salvation through Jesus the Christ with all around us so that this life does not have to be all the time we share together. Life now may be short, but there is no end to the life to come -- A life in which there will be no pain and suffering. It's a life we will spend forever with our Heavenly Father and His family whom we love. Shanen, we love you and are so thankful that you are a part of The Oasis family. We grieve with you and your family. My prayer will be in the days to come that you and your family draw close to each other, and to the hope that God is offering.
